About My Portraits Project:
I think it is only with the heart that one can see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eye. Many people said that I’m “color blind”…but I’m guess they just teasing me around. I believed that when you photograph people in color you photograph their clothes. But when you photograph people in B&W, you photograph their souls!
About Who I am:
I didn’t want to tell the tree or weed what it was. I wanted it to tell me something and through me express its meaning in nature.
Poeticpicture is not about images which are forced into my photo-works, but more about the way my brain works. For me, my inspiration begins with the line of prose and poem. From there I go wild into another dimension. Most of my works were inspired by my mentor Harlim Lim, who taught me that…..you can be free with what you do, but in freedom, you should know the very basic of rules before you even break them.
Some of my works were powered by InfraRed Version 3 & 9.8 (custom made by Harlim Lim) using either a semi-pro or a pro digital camera. I think it’s not about the gear itself, but the way we picture our line of meaning.
